Monday morning and first client of the day is a lovely lady who comes regularly for maintenance sessions for her fibromyalgia. She sits down carefully with a groan. “I have such a bad period pain” she tells me. “I may be able to help with that” I tell her with a smile.
You know the scene – exotic location and the chance to take a hike to the top of a local extinct volcano or down a steep cliff to the deserted sunlit cove. But muscles that spend 50 weeks of the year sitting behind a desk or walking only to the local shops are not expecting, nor are they equipped for the sudden extra strain placed on them.
Connectivity – Broadband and our Bodies both need it. Remember when internet was dial up? Watching that blue line edge its way along the address bar, stopping and starting along the way. Frustrating, annoying and ultimately often non productive.
Unknown just a few years ago, it seems everyone is blogging these days; from Tom Cruise on Scientology, Coco Kelley on interior design, Paul Hollywood on baking and the Kardashians on… well almost anything. We have an insatiable appetite for what other people are doing.
